Courtney - Class of 2011!

Last night I met up with Courtney for her senior portraits. Her mom told me she is a true cow girl and loves to hang out at the farm and be outdoors... so it was only fitting we did a big part of her shoot by some old farm buildings followed by some other outdoorsy shots. Courtney really was a natural in front of the camera, even though she said she doesn't like having her photo taken... hopefully the below images will change her mind.

The "L" Family!

This week I stopped and saw the "L" family. I always enjoy seeing them.  Their two boys are so sweet and a little shy... but at least they have smiles! Well... one of them did for sure, but we had to bribe the "big brother" with some pretty good treats before he flashed his pearly whites. It was so cute watching him contemplate the bribe before taking the deal. Kids are so fun!

John & Alycia - Married!

Ceremony & Reception: Wild Ridge Golf Course

John and Alycia were wed on Saturday. The entire day was beautiful and Alycia looked radiant! I absolutely enjoyed capturing their day for them. It was so great to see some familiar faces too (I photographed Alycia's brother's wedding last year). The setting at Wild Ridge is so scenic, it really provides a great spot for weddings. Congratulations you two!

Emily & Kellen - Married!

Emily and Kellen tied the knot yesterday and even though it was a little muggy the storms that were predicted never came through and everyone was able to enjoy their beautiful garden ceremony. Emily was actually a bridesmaid in a wedding I shot last year, so it was great to see some familiar faces again. I was also happy that Emily chose me to capture her and Kellen's special day. It was so cute when they first saw each other, they couldn't stop looking at each other for like 30 minutes. How wonderful!

Becky & Jess planned such a beautiful wedding. It was originally going to be outdoors at a local park, but mother nature had her own plans. So luckily they had a back-up location. We still managed to take most of their photos outside, which was great! Beck & Jess and their entire wedding party were a lot of fun... and had a great time.  Jess secretly learned to play guitar the last few months and surprised Becky at the reception by playing a song he wrote for her. What a great surprise!

Out -of-Town until JUNE 16th

I just wanted to post a quick update that I will be out-of-town until June 16th. I'll return all phone calls and emails when I get back.

My husband and I are taking a vacation to celebrate our anniversary... it was suppose to happen last year but got canceled. Better late than never! Everyone have a great couple weeks and see you when I get back!

Baby Belle!

I had a couple of visitors this week... it was so much fun! We also managed to get a mini-session in before they left. We weren't very good about the timing of it, since it was right before Belle's nap time, but we still got some adorable shots. She is one heck of a cutie!
