Happily Waiting

I just love to see a couple who is in the stage of soon starting their family. There is something magical about that time. The excitement they feel, the hopes they have, and the love they share is all very apparent. It's great that I get to be a part of that time and also help preserve some of those memories. I truly enjoyed my session with them Sunday and can not wait to meet the person that will forever change their lives.

 

  

  

 

Baby Belle!

I'm so excited about this post because it's about the newest person to become a special part of my dearest friend's life... and that person would be her daughter. I traveled down there last week to spend a few days with them and to of course photograph this time. I cannot express how precious and lovely Baby Belle is, she was a complete joy to be around. It was also equally beautiful to see my friend and her husband transition from a couple to a family of three... they are already such wonderful parents! Congratulations to the new family!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Baby "C"

This weekend I got to photograph and play with Baby "C." He has always been so great to photograph. After the session was done I asked him if he had fun, and he said, "Yes!" He loved playing with all of my "props," which can make those smiles appear much easier.

 

 

 

The "H" Family

This week the "H" family visited me. I can't believe it's already been a year since I last saw them. The kids keep getting cuter every year. It's so fun now that the oldest one can talk. She kept saying my name and making suggestions, and then she had to inspect my work. So fun :)

 

 

 

 

 

New Addition

Happy 2010! I can't believe we're already into another decade. Where does the time go? Well I don't think I could have started the new decade any better than I did. Today I had the absolute joy of photographing a brand new baby boy and his family. He did so well, despite a little chill in the air. I was so excited about these images as soon as the shoot was done, I ran into my office and started working away on them. So here's a little preview of my first shoot for the new year. Corissa & Curtis - Engaged!

Wow... I can't believe I haven't blogged in over a month already... the last few weeks have been crazy busy. Getting orders processed, albums designed, getting our home ready for Christmas since we're hosting it this year! Those are just a few of the things that have been going on... well I figured it's high time I update this blog.

Over the weekend I met up with Corissa and Curtis for their engagement photos... I honestly didn't think we were ever going to get them taken... I think this was our 4th rescheduled shoot. So glad we waited though. The photos were great... we even waited until dark and took some with the Christmas Lights... they are AWESOME!
